Minner’s Bookkeeping & Tax Preparation is owned by Joel and Sharon Minner. The company is here to help businesses better understand the administrative side of their individual companies as well as assist small and mid-sized companies comply with local, state, and federal regulations. The company also specializes in helping individuals with their personal federal and state tax returns at great prices.
A little about the Owners – Joel has a degree in accounting from Empire State College and has been working in this field since 2002. In 2009 he earned his Enrolled Agent Designation from the IRS and is now authorized to practice and represent all the company’s clients in front of the IRS at all levels. With this education behind him, Joel is well qualified to assist businesses and individuals with most all business and tax related issues.
Sharon began assisting him when they moved the practice to Clarksville, TN in 2004. As the Office Manager, she has been providing invaluable assistance to the company’s clients ever since. Her responsibilities include working with QuickBooks software, preparing business reports and returns, answering the phones and over-all client support.
While working together has its own inherent challenges, Sharon and I work very well together and have a great relationship with all of our clients. It is because we treat our clients with respect, professionalism that our company continues to grow through word-of-mouth referrals. A great part of these referrals is our affiliation with the Clarksville Networking Group. We’ve been a part of the group for almost 5 years now and it has helped our company grow each and every year since 2004.
